Dr. Paglia is a Finance Professor at Pepperdine University’s Graziadio
School of Business & Managing Director of Paglia Consulting Group, LLC-- a
premier business appraisal, economic damage analysis, forensic accounting, &
litigation support firm. A valuation expert, Dr. Paglia has been performing
business appraisals for over ten years in a variety of sectors & industries.
He has also served as an economic expert for breach of contract cases in
which economic damages were assessed. His other consulting experience
includes business plan development, valuation consulting, & the writing of
risk management, financial analyses, & management accounting training
materials. In addition, he has chaired Ethics Committees, Audit Committees,
& sits on Boards of Directors.
He also has over ten years of academic teaching experience at both the
undergraduate & graduate levels & has taught Business Valuations, Mergers &
Acquisitions, Financial Statement Analysis, Managerial Finance, Investments
& Financial Risk Management. In addition he has taught Chartered Financial
Analyst (CFA) & Financial Risk Manager (FRM) training programs, has appeared as a
finance expert in training videos, taught How to Read & Understand
Financial Statements to Attorneys & Bankers, & is regularly a guest speaker for
Entrepreneurship classes on creating financial statements, understanding
value drivers, & valuing business operations. His research has appeared in numerous journals
& has been presented at domestic & international conferences.
Dr. Paglia holds a Ph.D. in Finance, an MBA, a B.S. in Finance & is an
